Job Placements

Beyond Our Limitations (BOL) has supported international students in securing jobs by:

• Giving them the opportunity (through sponsorships) to attend networking event & career fairs at notable conferences such as the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) & Society of Women Engineers (SWE) conferences

• Hosting resume review workshops and interview prep workshops, so that these students stand out when interacting with recruiters and hiring managers

• Partnering with hiring managers to collect and review resumes of international students for job opening these managers are hiring for

Our goal is to continue to host more programs and workshops that will make the backgrounds and experiences of international students even more attractive in the job market. Also, one of our long-term goals is to begin hosting our own conferences and career fairs that will be tailored specifically to international students in the United States.
