Beyond Our Limitations (BOL) has a mission to provide support to international students in the United States, to enable them excel professionally, academically and socially.

So far, we have achieved this mission through:

• Career Workshops: Resume reviews, LinkedIn workshops, and more to help students stand out.

• Immigration Workshops: Partnered with immigration lawyers to teach students how to file for their National Interest Waiver (NIW) green card independent of an employer.

• Conference Sponsorships: Funded attendance at conferences like the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), covering registration, travel, accommodation, and meals.

• Building community: Created a thriving Groupme community of over 200 international students, enabling them to connect, share their stories, and share resources.

Future Goals to Expand Our Impact:

• Provide full college/university sponsorships for international students.

• Fund and support small businesses and startups owned by international students.
